Challenge
This customer installed a ‘do it yourself’ product purchased at his local big box store. It was working for a while until he noticed that there was water cascading down behind the gutters. Upon inspection, the homeowner found that not only was there no strip flashing, but his gutters were full of needles and debris and water was flowing behind the gutters, rotting the fascia board. When the gutters were originally installed, flash stripping was not used causing even more rot! Realizing that he needed help, he called Leafless in Seattle for help!

Solution
An appointment was set for our estimator Jim to visit the home and assess the damage. Upon arrival, it was noted that new gutters, fascia, strip flashing, and a new gutter protection system were needed. After discussing all the options with the customer, it was decided that new fascia and gutters (strip flashing as well) would be installed and set for installation of MasterShield in the near future. The homeowner will be installing the MasterShield gutter protection system once the other home improvement projects are completed.
