There were numerous issues with this home. One: the gutters were full of needles, debris, and leaves. Two: the downspouts were insufficient. Three: algae and mold growing on the siding and roof due to water overflow. Four: rotting fascia due to clogged gutters. To remedy the problems, new gutters and MasterShield were installed, valley controllers were installed to help with water disbursement, all downspouts were replaced, additional downspout tie-ins were added, and the siding and roof were treated for excessive algae and moss growth.

A home owner installed a DIY product on his home that he purchased at his local big box store. He thought the product was working, that is until he noticed water running down behind his gutters. Upon further inspection it was noted that there was significant fascia damage and that the covered gutters were full of needles and debris. New fascia board and gutters were installed and set for a future installation of the MasterShield gutter protection system.
