MasterShield Gutter Protection System Transferable Limited Product Warranty

No other company in the industry offers a warranty like MasterShield. We don't just promise to clean your gutter when it fails; we guarantee that your MasterShield-protected gutter will never clog. If it does, we will replace your system or give you back the cost of the MasterShield product installed on your house. If the clog causes damage that's covered by your homeowners insurance, we'll refund you your deductible, up to $1,500. This warranty is transferable to the next owner if you decide to sell your home.

INHERENT PRODUCT DEFECT – LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

MGP warrants to You, the owner of the property at the time the MasterShield™ Gutter Protection system was installed, that the MasterShield™ Gutter Protection system will be free from defects in material and workmanship in the course of manufacture, and that the finish on the MasterShield™ Gutter Protection system will not crack, chip, or blister under normal use and maintenance, if installed according to MGP specifications, for as long as Your existing gutters are structurally intact and remain attached to Your property.

CLOG-FREE – LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

MGP warrants to You, the owner of the property at the time the MasterShield™ Gutter Protection system was installed, that wheninstalled according to MGP specifications, the MasterShield™ Gutter Protection system will keep gutters from becoming clogged and overflowing as a result of the interior of the gutter or downspouts becoming filled with debris, for as long as Your existing gutters are structurally intact and remain attached to Your property.

INSURED WATER DAMAGE – LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

MGP warrants to You, the owner of the property at the time the MasterShield™ Gutter Protection system was installed, that, when installed according to MGP specifications, if proof of payment of a claim under Your homeowner's insurance policy is presented and verified to be directly related to water damage occurring from a clogged gutter interior resulting from failure of the MasterShield™ Gutter Protection system, MGP will refund to You the cost of Your actual homeowner's policy deductible, up to $1,500.00. Any additional costs or expenses beyond this amount are Your responsibility. Such water damage must not have been partly or wholly the result of a condition existing prior to the installation of the MasterShield™ Gutter Protection system.

How to Obtain Warranty Service:

All claims under this Warranty should be submitted in writing to the MasterShield™ Gutter Protection dealer that installed your MasterShield™ Gutter Protection system ("System"). The contact information for your dealer should be available on your original sales agreement or purchase order. If You are unable to contact the dealer that installed Your System, You should contact MGP at mastershield.com. In the event that the dealer that installed Your System is no longer available to inspect and/or repair the System, MGP shall use reasonable efforts to locate an alternative dealer, if available, to inspect the System. The alternative dealer may charge a service fee. Any written warranty claim must include the reason for the claim and include a dated copy of th is Warranty or a signed and dated copy of the original sales agreement or purchase order. Claims must be submitted promptly after discovery of the claimed defect and within the applicable warranty period. Upon receipt of a proper claim, MGP will schedule an appointment to inspect the premises and the warranty claim within a reasonable period of time after having received the claim. If after inspection, MGP determines that a valid claim exists under one or more of the warranties, MGP will repair, re-install, replace, or refund the purchase price of the failing product, at MGP's option. If MGP determines that the defective product or component cannot be repaired, MGP shall provide the Purchaser with a new product or component thereof and it shall be the responsibility of the Purchaser to arrange for and pay for installation. If MGP determines to replace any or all product(s), and if such product(s) as originally installed is/are no longer available, MGP shall have the right to substitute product(s) designated by MGP to be of equal quality. Replacement of a product or component thereof does not renew the warranty period. If, at MGP's option, a purchase price refund is conveyed to the Purchaser, then all warranties are terminated, and the repair, replacement, or removal of MGP products shall become the sole responsibility of the Purchaser. No warranties are valid unless and until the Purchaser has made full payment under the
original sales agreement/purchase order and all addenda thereto.

How to Transfer These Warranties:

Subject to the other terms and conditions contained in this Warranty, this Warranty is transferable by the Purchaser to a subsequent homeowner of the home where the System was installed. The Purchaser may transfer these warranties only once. To transfer these warranties, the Purchaser must, within 45 days of settlement, complete and provide MGP with a Warranty Transfer Application and payment of a $49.00 transfer fee. Please contact MGP for the Warranty Transfer Application. Upon receipt of a properly completed Warranty Transfer Application and the payment of a $49.00 transfer fee, and MGP's inspection and re-certification of the System (or waiver of such inspection and re-certification by MGP), this Warranty shall transfer to the subsequent homeowner. No other or further transfers of these warranties are permitted.
